The year 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of the original release of the iconic Hornet off-road buggy! To celebrate the milestone, Tamiya’s designers have cooked up a fun variant that is sure to please new hobbyists and veteran hobbyists alike! This RC model assembly kit is an updated version of The Hornet, the original of which was first released in 1984. It largely keeps the original bathtub frame and pairs it with 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension and oil dampers, while the sealed rear gearbox gives excellent off-road dust proofing with a built-in 3-bevel differential gear for smooth cornering.
